The client component of the Viatores Mobile VPN Suite is IPRoam, an application that runs on mobile devices and manages mobility and security. IPRoam ensures that end users remain productive and secure by seamlessly handling network changes while maintaining encryption requirements. The application utilizes the Mobile IP standard for mobility and the IPSec standard for security. IPRoam ensures that a users applications remain open and connected while mobile by maintaining session persistence across network boundaries The IPRoam client resides in the system tray of an end user device as a color-coded icon indicating connectivity state.

The client supports Windows 2000, Windows XP, Pocket PC 2002, 2003, and Windows Mobile 5.0 PDAs and Smartphones.
